The Kotuku Trust, which oversees the work of A Supported Life and Way Out West is a registered charitable trust and has a board of Trustees made of committed members of the community including family representation who manage the governance of the organisation.
This Board meets bi-monthly to review financial and operating performance, discuss the Management Team’s reports and approve expenditure and major projects related to the development of the organisation.
The Board provides support to management and staff alike. Board members offer their skills and time for a finite period and with the passage of time there are changes within the Trustee group, the Board, as an entity exist independently of the individuals, to ensure the continuance of the organisation and maintaining the confidence of the families of the residents.
The Board is comprised of interested and skilled members of the community and family representation, as volunteers to fulfil the governance role within A Supported Life.
If you feel you can offer your skills, life experience and time to the Trust Board please contact the General Manager through the Contact section of this site.
